Parks
Located within the Municipality of Shawville you will find the following parks:
Mill Dam Park
The park is located on Clarendon St., it provides camping services from May until October (weather permitting). Camping sites have access to electrical outlets and water with a pumping station on site, and a splash pad.
Fees:
Campers - $20 per day Tents - Free Pumping Station - $2
Mill Dam park contains beautiful gardens, a children’s play structure, an outdoor pavilion for your enjoyment, and a creek that runs through it.
During the Québec free fishing weekend, the Municipality of Shawville hosts a Fishing Derby where the creeks are stocked with trout. Children 18 and under can come and experience fishing first hand.
Two pitches have been set up for a game of horseshoes. The Municipality will need your name and phone number to sign out the shoes. The horseshoes can be picked up at Town Hall.

- The Municipal Office at 350 Main Street between 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday. Or,
- Online through the National Bank, Royal Bank or Caisse Populaire

Camping reservations at Mill Dam Park are exceptionally allowed for Shawville Fair weekend. For information and reservations, contact Collin Hines of the Shawville District Minor Hockey Association at 819-923-5791.
Veterans Memorial Park
The Veterans Memorial Park is located at Main and Clarendon Street. The park serves as a memorial to those that have fallen in battle, and to remember those that fight for our freedom each day.
Elwood Dale Park
The park is located at the end of Hillcrest Street, near the Pontiac High School, it is operated by the Shawville District Recreation Association. They oversee the baseball park, R.A. Hall, and play structures for children to use.
